Counseling for Anxiety

Anxiety comes in a range of different forms and severities. People may be feeling slight uneasiness or discomfort in life, panic attacks or anxiety related to post-traumatic stress disorder. Anxiety can be very difficult to manage which makes developing coping strategies and gaining understanding of the function of the anxiety very important. Moving beyond basic symptom management is crucial and more effective for long term success with anxiety.

 

I want to support you in gaining more understanding of the sources of your anxiety and changing your relationship with it. People struggle with anxiety in unique, complex ways that can encompass a broad range of issues. Through the therapeutic process we are able to confront anxiety in a way that gives you tools to move toward finding more peace, a sense of safety, empowerment and a different relationship with your anxiety. My hope is that this work helps you to develop the tools, strategies and understanding of how to move into the kind of life you envision for yourself.
